Amber Heard is speaking out about domestic violence in a public service announcement for the GirlGaze Project. In the video, Heard shares her own story about facing and overcoming an abusive situation in a past relationship. Although Heard doesn’t mention anyone by name, the actress finalized her divorce from Johnny Depp earlier this year after alleging repeated instances of domestic violence.

“I have a unique opportunity to remind other women…this doesn’t have to be the way it is. You don’t have to do it alone. You’re not alone.”
