Things We Saw Today: A Rare Pokémon Sighting Prompts a Mad Central Park Dash

I’ve been watching people catch Pokémon all week now, but nothing compares to this: a rare Vaporeon sighting in Central Park a couple nights ago prompted a mad dash of tons of Pokémon GO players, much to the amusement of the user who captured it on video. Apparently, someone even jumped out of their car and left it running to go and catch the elusive Vaporeon! Between this and the fact that the Pokémon GO panel is going to be held in Hall H this year at SDCC… I don’t know, y’all. I’m starting to get scared.

• Daveed Diggs has landed his first official post-Hamilton gig! The talented actor/rapper will be starring in the film adaptation of the YA novel Wonder, about a young boy born with a facial deformity. The cast also includes Julia Roberts and Jacob Tremblay; Diggs will play the young boy’s teacher. Basically prepare yourself now for lots of adorableness and crying. (via THR)
