The Daleks Return to Doctor Who! But What Have They Been Doing All This Time?

Steven Moffat tweeted this picture from the set of Doctor Who over the weekend, heralding the return of the series’ most songbird-voiced villains, the daleks. Also, after the jump, a video of just one way the daleks have been spending their hiatus: making meditation recordings.

No, really: This needs to exist. Peter Serafinowicz (British comedy actor who appeared in Shaun of the Dead, amongst other things) has a radio show on BBC Radio 6 Music, where he does things like meditation videos recorded by daleks:

Just in case you thought you could get away with just listening to this, you really might want to try watching it this time. It’s exactly what meditation is not at all about.
