Texas woman accused of allowing doctor to commit unspeakable crimes to a child in exchange for prescription meds

A Texas woman has been arrested and charged after she allegedly took a child to be sexually abused by a doctor multiple times in exchange for prescription medication. The child, who was described as a minor under the age of 14, was apparently told, “This is what doctors do.”

Alicia Evonne Sanchez, 37, also known as Alicia Evonne Seguin, was reportedly charged with continuous sexual assault of a child under 14, according to KLTV. Sanchez brought the child to the office of 56-year-old Dr. Kenneth Donald Haygood in Tyler at least 10 times and allegedly allowed him to sexually assault the minor while she stayed in the room.

The child’s cries and pleas for him to stop were ignored, with the victim being told, “This is what doctors do,” according to the report. Police began investigating the matter after the child reported what had happened to a counselor . They also claimed that Haygood would give Sanchez Adderall pills (a medication typically used to treat ADHD and Narcolepsy), which she subsequently placed in a clear plastic baggie.

Sanchez’s relationship to the child and the child’s gender have not been revealed by investigators yet. Sanchez also allegedly told the child that the pills she was getting from Haygood were “for people who couldn’t get them from their doctor,” and there was a medication shortage according to officials.

Sanchez is arrested

Following the child’s report, Sanchez was arrested on Wednesday and is currently being held on a $3,000,000 bond. She is also facing up to 99 years in prison if found guilty of the charges brought against her, according to The New York Post.

As for Dr. Kenneth Donald Haygood, he is already in prison and currently serving eight years for previous sex crimes. He had committed numerous examples of medical malpractice, but was able to strike a plea deal back in September 2025. Haygood admitted to two counts of sexually assaulting two female patients. His admission was part of a deal that saw other charges against him dropped; one of those charges was sexually assaulting a child.

At the time, Assistant District Attorney Richard Vance said that Haygood “probably deserved more” than the eight years he was sentenced to. However, the deal was made so that the victims would not have to “get up on the stand and talk about details nobody would ever want to talk about.”

Haygood’s also had his practicing license suspended in 2023 and was later indicted for practicing without a license. That charge was later dropped as part of the deal that was struck last September. However, Haygood will have to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
