Considering he's the President of Marvel Studios, you'd think Kevin Feige would have a handle on their upcoming projects, right? Well, Feige was asked about the prospects of a female solo film recently and his answer amounted to, "Uhh, umm, we have great female characters in our films already!" Oh, Mr. Feige, Natasha would like a word with you.

This summer was a weird one. It felt, in a way, like were were still coming down from the high of The Avengers, the movie that ruled our hearts, minds, and wallets a single summer ago. On hand to catch us as we fell were some good movies, some bad movies, some movies that we weren't angry at, just disappointed, and one shining example of Oh please God, no, why did this movie happen?! We're taking a fond (or, in some cases, not-so-fond) look back at the summer of 2013's giant monsters, giant robots, giant stuffed rabbits, and the giant pile of wrongness that was a whole lot o' whitewashing. Whew. With the summer over, let's get ready for the end-of-year releases. More Hunger Games, Thor, and The Hobbit are right around the corner.

The Worst (And Least Awful) Female Superhero Movies According To Nostalgia Chick [VIDEO]

Ok, I stole that title from Nostalgia Chick (Lindsay Ellis) but only because it worked so well. I recently put together a quick list on my tumblr of male-led vs. female-led superhero film adaptations but Ellis takes a deeper look at the actual quality of those superheroine (or antiheroine as the case may be) films. I will defend 1984's Supergirl to my dying day but give a watch and see what she has to say about the some of the few female comic book films in existence. For those of you who have had the traumatic experience of watching one of the campiest superhero films of all time, this Honest Trailer for Batman & Robin might be too real. Stan Lee Might Have, Maybe, Confirmed a Doctor Strange Movie’s Definitely Happening

Stan Lee might be the most well-known name in comics, but that doesn't mean he hasn't made mistakes in the past. When it comes to the Marvel movies, he's good for a cameo and executive producer credit, but he's not really all that involved in the production. So, when we say that Mr. Lee might have just outed a Doctor Strange movie as definitely happening, it's important to absorb that news with a grain of salt. Once you've done that, feel free to squee.
