In today's Pond Life, the doctor is unhelpful with regards to Amy and Rory's embarrassing houseguest. And today in videos for folks who aren't necessarily Who fans, a baby cheetah. See below for the Doctor!
We're talking a lot about Doctor Who this week but you can't really blame us. Season 7 begins Saturday on BBC America and we're really, really excited for it. We'll be posting the hilarious new mini-sodes called "Pond Life" this whole week but to lessen the effect on those of you who don't watch the show (you should, it's really awesome), we're also posting something else for you to look at. Today, it's smarty-pants Nellie the Otter! Watch her then hit the jump for today's Doctor Who mini-sode, or if you just can't wait, watch Nellie second.
Look, I fully understand that not everybody's into Doctor Who, and so for those people I present this picture of four baby Guinea pigs in espresso cups.
Meanwhile, in the realm of Who fandom, we've got another installment of Pond Life, this one demonstrating exactly the kind of boundaries that a good son-in-law should not cross.
Look, we know we serve a diverse audience, and one of the ways in which it is diverse is in interest. And so it has come time for me to apologize, as I have done to folks who aren't huge fans of Harry Potter or those who weren't particularly interested in The Avengers or Game of Thrones. But when large events in fandoms are imminent, it can't but help coloring the news in a certain direction.
This is a roundabout way of saying Doctor Who is back in less than a week, people, so buckle up. Below the jump is the first episode of Pond Life, a five part webseries intended to ring in the new season of the show. Mata Hari guest stars. Enjoy.
