The Star Wars Battlefront trailer revealed at Star Wars Celebration today looks amazing. Literally. The game-engine visuals for the upcoming multiplayer shooter are unbelievably… believable.
Battlfront is intended to be a multiplayer shooter that allows fans to relive famous battles from the Star Wars movies as well as some that were never shown on-screen. Players can control a variety of vehicles from speeder bikes to the Millennium Falcon and use characters including Boba Fett and Darth Vader—complete with lightsaber. While the game won’t feature a traditional campaign mode, there will be a few single-player and co-op missions.
Star Wars Battlefront will release just ahead of Star Wars: The Force Awakens on November 17 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC—probably to capitalize on everyone’s immense levels of hype.
