Spend the Rest of Your Friday Playing the Slap Kirk Web Game

That's a fact, not a suggestion.

Your boss will be amazed as you appear to spend the rest of your day furiously moving your mouse. How hard you must be working!

Come on. It’s Friday. It’s 4PM (Eastern, at least). You’ve had a hard week, and you need to release some tension. There’s nothing more cathartic than Slap Kirk, which is now a very real game you can play. I expect to see all of your total slap counts and maximum SPS (that’s Slaps Per Second, of course) in the comments. You know, whenever you need to take a break/do some actual work, that is.

For those of you who can’t load it up and experience its greatness at the moment, it’s a game made out of the above GIF (coding: Josh Kowarsky, sound design: Remy Dylan) that plays it frame by frame depending on where your mouse moves, so you can … well, slap Kirk. It’s interactive Star Trek, and to be honest, it’s almost as engrossing as your own holodeck. Just, uh, make sure you have your headphones in or your speakers muted. Fair warning.
