Andy Serkis Addresses the Rumor That Supreme Leader Snoke is Jar Jar Binks

The first few preview screenings for The Force Awakens have begun, so we’re all studiously avoiding spoilers — and in honor of that, here’s Andy Serkis “confirming” a thoroughly fake spoiler that his character Supreme Leader Snoke will turn out to be Jar Jar Binks. Then Serkis’ impression of Jar Jar Binks ensues, and it’s good enough to make you wonder if this isn’t a fake spoiler.

You’ve heard the “Darth Jar Jar” theories, right? There’s an entire website devoted to the fan theory that everyone’s least favorite Gungan is a Sith Lord. Conan O’Brien concludes this video by saying “people wouldn’t like that,” but actually, I think people would love it. Or maybe I’m misunderstanding the Darth Jar Jar theories. We all earnestly like this idea, right? Or is that just me?
