Well, maybe not exactly “Samurai Jack IRL.”  But if they ever made a theatrical production of the hit Cartoon Network show, it could do worse than to look like this.

The performer, Taichi Saotome, is an actor of classical Japanese theater, and has made a name for himself playing the roles of women and bishonen (young, graceful, attractive men).  You don’t need to know that to enjoy the video, but I thought it was super interesting, so I subjected you to it.

Susana Polo thought she'd get her Creative Writing degree from Oberlin, work a crap job, and fake it until she made it into comics. Instead she stumbled into a great job: founding and running this very website (she's Editor at Large now, very fancy). She's spoken at events like Geek Girl Con, New York Comic Con, and Comic Book City Con, wants to get a Batwoman tattoo and write a graphic novel, and one of her canine teeth is in backwards.
