Ohio woman found out about her husband’s workplace affair. And then, he flipped on her. ‘I feel like my husband has died’

Teylor (@teyemch) from Ohio discovered her husband’s affair before their trip to New York City. Instead of apologizing to her and trying to mend the relationship, she alleged that he flipped on her.

“This is gonna sound really weird, but I don’t think that catching my husband cheating has been the worst part about catching my husband cheating,” Teylor told TikTok. She claimed that a month ago, in September, they were planning to go on a trip to New York City for his birthday.

“I discovered very graphic text messages between him and his 21-year-old receptionist. That night, I had canceled our trip and stayed in a hotel,” Teylor said. However, the next morning, she decided to rebook the trip and go alone. Eventually, her husband caught on and realized that she had discovered his alleged deception. Teylor alleged that he didn’t call or reach out, like a fiancé who went dark on the woman he was about to marry after a trip to Dallas.

The next day, Teylor’s husband allegedly texted her, apologizing that “it went down like this.” She continued, “The hardest part truly has been watching someone that I was in love with—am still in love with—someone that I thought I was going to spend my life with turn into someone that I absolutely do not recognize so quickly.”

Lashing out over the affair

Since finding out about the affair, Teylor alleged that her husband has been cruel and mocking towards her. They had been together for six years and owned their home together. It wasn’t a roommate situation, like with this woman, whose fiancé bailed on her three days before their wedding.

“When I came home from New York, and we sat down and had a conversation, it was a very civilized conversation, where he told me he no longer wanted to be with me and that he wanted to seek a divorce,” Teylor said. Since they co-owned the house, Teylor asked him for a bit of time to digest everything they had talked about. However, less than 48 hours later, Teylor alleged that he asked her when she planned to move out. She further claimed that he repeatedly goes to the guest room, where she has been staying, and asks her the same question over and over while being aggressive and angry.

“We just can’t seem to have a civilized conversation without him yelling at me. He has told me that I am financially illiterate,” she alleged. Teylor also said that her husband has called her an “idiot,” among other cruel names that she didn’t disclose. Teylor said he hurt her when he told her he didn’t remember their first date. He allegedly said it wasn’t “memorable enough” for him to recall. He also allegedly denied wanting to marry Teylor in the first place. However, Teylor claimed he asked her parents for permission to have her hand.

Mourning the man he was

“Just the other night, he was talking about how I don’t deserve this house, because I can’t keep it clean,” Teylor claimed. To prove his point, he allegedly ran his finger up the doorframe, swept it across, and blew the dust onto her bed. Then, he allegedly said that when Teylor moves out, he will hire “super hot maids” and make them wear costumes. He allegedly took the insult up a notch by saying he would’ve bought a maid’s costume for Teylor if she kept the house clean, but he would replace the bottoms with sweatpants. Teylor believes that the comment was supposed to hit her insecurity about her legs.

“I obviously would’ve never been in a relationship with someone, had I known they were capable of this level of hurt,” Teylor said. She was questioning her judgment after being on the receiving end of her husband’s alleged cruelty. But even this woman from Florida believed her partner was perfect until his mask came off when they had their child.

Teylor said she recognizes that his words and actions could have been misplaced anger after she discovered the affair. However, being screamed at and then allegedly forced to forfeit ownership of their house has made him unrecognizable to Teylor. “I feel like my husband has died, and I feel like that person no longer exists,” she said.
