A fair number of us geeks are more than willing (if not necessarily able) to spend large amounts of money on accurate, high-quality replica props. You know it. I know it. The BBC knows it. That last has just licensed Doctor Who propmaker Nick Robatto to sell his own line of Doctor Who replica props and memorabilia. No sonic screwdriver, sadly—the FAQ for Robatto’s RubberToe Replicas says they have no plans to make them in the near future (what with another company owning the license and all). But the replicas RubberToe is selling, among them River Song’s Squareness Blaster and the Dalek Death Ray Projector (a.k.a. the whisk), look quite neat themselves.
