New Supergirl Clips Reveal What’s Coming in Midseason Premiere

Why you lyin', Kara?

I’ve been super into Supergirl since its initial premiere date, so I was definitely among those who were completely thrilled when the show got its full-season pick-up. True to its dramatic storytelling, though, of course the midseason finale would end on a cliff-hanger, and of course we would have to wait through the holidays to find out what happens next.

But the good news is that the wait is almost over, and Supergirl is coming back–on Monday, in fact!

The episode is titled “Blood Bonds”, and here’s the official ep description:

With Astra in captivity at the DEO, her husband, Non (Chris Vance), captures Hank, leading to a tense standoff between the two sides. Also, Kara continues to refute Cat’s allegations that she is Supergirl.

We’ve got some new clips from CBS to make the wait a little less tough, all alluding to certain ends that were kind of left dangling. (And I’m sorry, but if Kara thinks she can continue to try and convince Cat that she isn’t Supergirl–points for effort, but I’m pretty sure that ship has sailed.) Also: anyone else sensing kind of weird tension vibes between Alex and Maxwell Lord? Or is that just me?
