TikTok user @taniyaaimanii received hate from a random person

As previously mentioned, on May 9, 2026, TikTok user @taniyaaimanii uploaded a video in which, while participating in the “put a finger down if…” trend, she alleged that a person she did not know had texted her from an unknown number after her bridal shower, letting her know that they did not like what she was wearing during the event.

In the video, Taniya said that she had a great time at her bridal shower, surrounded by her family and friends. However, her mood completely changed when the person who texted her out of the blue mentioned that they had a good time at her wedding but found her dress “distasteful.” They didn’t stop there. They also allegedly said that Taniya’s parents did a “terrible job” raising her.

Taniya said in the video that she texted the number back, asking them to identify themselves, but did not receive a response. As a result, she apparently shared the number with her mother, father, sister, fiancé, his aunt, and his mother. She stated that her sister and her fiancé were the only ones to get responses, and in those messages, the person said even nastier things about Taniya.

Taniya then explained that she blocked the number and later unblocked it because she was curious about who was behind it. She said she discovered that the number had a Florida area code, which made it hard for her to identify the person.

In her video, Taniya mentioned that she texted the number again, asking them to reveal their identity. Allegedly, once more, they dodged the question and started sharing “random facts” about Taniya’s life that only a few people would know. She further stated that this person again did not respond when she asked them to reveal who they were, but instead said they looked forward to eating, drinking, and dancing at her wedding. As Taniya wrapped up her “put your finger down if…” story, she shared that it had been about two years since the incident and that she still had no idea who this person was.
