Monday Cute: Patches the Maltipoo Will Help You Cross the Street

It's a tough job, but someone's gotta do it.

Summer vacation is over, but I’m sure being walked by a cute 5-year-old maltese/poodle mix to class makes it a bit easier. Curtis and Patches are crossing guard partners at a local Pennsylvania school. In matching safety vests and a mini stop sign, they make the cutest protectors. Patches is a natural, according to his owner, Bradley Davis:

As soon as I started doing the job, Patches did too. I didn’t really train him to do this. He just started doing it on his own. He follows my every movement, and his eyes are totally focused on my feet. There’s no voice command, and I don’t have treats. He just follows me when I stop and go. It’s amazing.
