Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 Trailer Features Traps, Moody Walking, and Glares Aplenty

Recommended Videos

In this brand new trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 (that’s a mouthful, isn’t it), we get to see some of the traps President Snow’s set up for our rebel crew, interspersed with tense moments of moody walking and glaring. I joke, though. The trailer’s actually got a great blink-and-you’ll-miss-it reference to a notable character from the Capitol who looked exactly as I imagined them to be when I read the book.

Along with that, there’s just a lot of great teaser-y moments of tense running, and people getting caught in the nasty traps laid out throughout the Capitol. They’ve also shared a great look at one of the “Mutts,” a variant on the genetically mutated animals that terrorized the last few survivors in the first book. As Finnick himself says, “Welcome to the 76th Hunger Games.” This one’s gonna be a blast.
