See the Real Doc and Marty Finally Arrive in 2015, Get Introduced to Selfies

IT FINALLY HAPPENED ... in the past.

I don’t know to whom Jimmy Kimmel had to sell his soul to win the honor of actually having Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd pretend to be Doc and Marty arriving in 2015 on his show, but I’m 100% sure he’ll never regret it.

Not to be outdone by the entire Internet making jokes about how 2015 isn’t quite what it was cracked up to be in Back to the Future Part II, the pair reprised their roles to shoot approximately 1.21 gigawatts of pure joy through everyone watching. Still, it’s weird watching this today and thinking that Back to the Future day is now in the past, but at least the Internet can provide us with a pretty close approximation of a time machine in this instance. Enjoy.

Dan is many things, including a game developer, animator, martial artist, and at least semi-professional pancake chef. He lives in North Carolina with Lisa Brown (his wife) and Liz Lemon (his dog), both of whom are the best, and he will never stop reminding The Last Jedi's detractors that Luke Skywalker's pivotal moment in Return of the Jedi was literally throwing his lightsaber away and refusing to fight.
