Man cracked open his Popeyes chicken. Then found a condom fried inside and said staff laughed it off: ‘Worried about all you women’

Finding something strange in your food can ruin a meal fast. But when it seems to be inside the food, it can raise a much bigger question about how it got there.
Customers have confronted restaurants after finding things that don’t belong in their food. But one group at a Texas Popeyes claims they found something that made them take their complaint straight to the manager.
TikTok creator Vinyl Talk With Tavis (@vinyltalkwithtavis72) shared the confrontation in a video that has reached 1.5 million views. The group claims employees laughed when they first raised the issue, but that wasn’t the only thing that caught people’s attention. Once the video spread online, viewers started asking questions about the discovery itself.
But how did it get inside?
In the video, a man approaches a Popeyes manager and explains that a young customer had recently bought chicken from the restaurant. According to him, the customer was eating inside the location when he broke open a piece of chicken and allegedly found what appeared to be a condom inside.
“He broke open his chicken,” the man tells the manager. “He bought the chicken from here. He sat down in here, opened up the chicken. And the chicken had a condom in it.”
The group insists the object had been cooked with the chicken. The speaker also shows the manager what he identifies as the customer’s receipt and claims there is a separate video showing the moment the chicken was opened.
He then alleges that employees laughed when the customer first approached them about the discovery. The man demands that the general manager, owner, and Popeyes corporate be contacted. He also claims the customer later went to an emergency room and that a police report was filed.
The group was concerned about possible exposure because the customer had already started eating. The speaker repeatedly raises concerns about germs and contamination, though there is no confirmation that the object contained bodily fluids.
The confrontation eventually turns toward other customers in the restaurant. The man calls people over to watch the alleged discovery video on a phone. As the footage plays, he points to what appears to be an object being pulled from an opened piece of chicken.
“Condom inside. Fried in the chicken,” he tells the customers watching.
The speaker then makes a crude comment while warning women not to eat the food. “I’m worried about all you women,” he says. “Don’t eat this chicken because you might not know who your baby daddy is afterwards.”
The comment has no medical basis. Eating food that has come into contact with semen cannot result in pregnancy.
But then viewers noticed something
Viewers, meanwhile, were far from united over what the video showed. Several questioned why someone was already recording while the chicken was being opened if the customer had no idea what was supposedly inside.
“My question is, how did he know there was something inside the sandwich to record it?” one person wrote. “He was already ready with his phone; it seems suspicious.” Another asked, “Why were they so ready to do a video while they were opening the chicken? Like they knew that it was in there.”
Others focused on whether a condom could remain in that condition after allegedly being fried with the chicken. “Wouldn’t the hot grease melt the condom,” one viewer questioned. Another simply wrote, “Condom is rubber, if cook will be melted.”
Those comments don’t prove that the incident was staged. The footage also doesn’t establish when or how the object got into the chicken, making both explanations unconfirmed.
Some viewers still suspected the customer may have planted it, while others criticized the restaurant’s alleged response. One commenter wrote, “The manager didn’t seem to give a damn!!!”
For now, the group maintains that the object was already inside the chicken. But without independent confirmation of how it got there, the viral video has left viewers with almost as many questions as answers.
