EuropaCorp Announces Lucy 2 and Colombiana 2

More female-led action movies please!

EuropaCorp recently announced a bunch of their upcoming films at CineEurope 2015, which included the sequels to female-led action films Lucy and Colombiana. The two films are currently “in development” so you’ll have to wait for further details.

I haven’t seen Colombiana but I love watching Zoe Saldana be awesome and bad-ass (check out Zoe’s review of Colombiana). Although I’m not the biggest fan of Lucy and I’d much rather see ScarJo do a Black Widow movie, it is great that there are more action movies starring women. If anything, Lucy, shows that female-led movies are profitable and that there should be more of them (hopefully better ones that don’t misrepresent my dear Taiwan). Check out Susana’s review of Lucy!

Are you looking forward to these sequels?
