Lady Gaga and Google

This Makes Sense

The pop star herself sat down with a somewhat star-struck Marissa Meyer this week, and talked about how bullying stays with you for the rest of your life, that if you ever see her drunk and jamming at a piano bar that’s just how she keeps her keyboarding chops, how she considers her public life a performance piece, and that her favorite youtube video (that isn’t one of her own) is David After Dentist.

There’s a lot more in the more than an hour long video, mostly of fan submitted questions, at least as far as we could tell, we only got about forty minutes in. It would have been interesting to see a schoch more of social media/internet marketing talk, but we guess the 24/7 performance piece of a pop star from the far future is pretty interesting in the first place.

Susana Polo thought she'd get her Creative Writing degree from Oberlin, work a crap job, and fake it until she made it into comics. Instead she stumbled into a great job: founding and running this very website (she's Editor at Large now, very fancy). She's spoken at events like Geek Girl Con, New York Comic Con, and Comic Book City Con, wants to get a Batwoman tattoo and write a graphic novel, and one of her canine teeth is in backwards.
