November 20th still seems painfully far away, but we’ve finally got a look at Marvel and Netflix’s Jessica Jones TV series outside of teaser trailers!

Marvel has quietly released a digital Jessica Jones comic to introduce the show and its characters before it comes to Netflix later this year—and it’s free! And it reunites the creative team from Alias (Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Gaydos), the comic that inspired the show.

This is not your average tie-in comic. … Why are you still reading this and not Jessica Jones?

The mini issue also wastes no time in tying the series together with Daredevil (including a surprise cameo by another of that series’ characters), which kicks off the interconnected TV MCU that will continue with Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Defenders.
