Jennifer Connelly’s Audition Tape for Labyrinth Is Magical

Here’s an exceedingly lovely Jennifer Connelly auditioning for the role of Sarah in Labyrinth in front of Jim Henson himself. Proving that she is truly the babe with the power, the 15-year-old handles some of the movie’s more awkward and surreal dialogue with impressive aplomb.

Can anyone remember which character Sarah is talking to in this scene? I think it’s that sassy worm from early in the movie, but since both time and space are obviously a false construct in Jareth’s kingdom, I need a little reminder. [Update: Mary Sue readers tell me Sarah is meeting Hoggle here. Nice job, team.]
