Jared Leto Is Everywhere No One Wants Him to Be. Including Depicted as Jesus By Trump Fans

Jared Leto as Jesus isn’t real, and he can’t hurt you. Except today, a Trump fan decided to use Jared Leto’s likeness as Jesus next to President Donald Trump.

“We must trust the president, who is the first leader in history to pilot our nation with Christ himself as his steward,” the caption of the post said.

“Americans are lining up for a first-class ticket to safely deliver winnings across the world,” and beneath the post is a photo of Donald Trump steering a plane, with a Jaredified Jesus as the co-pilot. There are many questions to be had here, but the most important one comes from another X user.

That, we don’t know, and Jared Leto has been parodied as a spiritual mystic. He’s also been likened to a cult leader. Worst of all, he’s been accused of sexual misconduct with minors.

Either way, that doesn’t seem like something Jesus would want to be associated with.

Why is Jesus always painted the same way?

Putting Trump with a Coke can while he pilots the ship that is America to anywhere but safety. Why are some people convinced that Jesus looks anything like Jared Leto?

The answer isn’t convoluted, in that nobody knows what Jesus truly looked like. Not even scripture described Jesus accurately. There are varying depictions of Jesus, and it’s largely an artistic choice.

Michelangelo depicts Jesus as a relatively fair-skinned man. Meanwhile, some regions like Panama and the Philippines have their own statues of Jesus as a dark-skinned man. Although the Black Nazarene was not intentionally made to be dark, natives annually hold a feast for the sacred statue.

Simply put, whatever Jesus looks like is up to interpretation. And what if MAGA (and presumably AI) depicts Jesus to be closer to Jared Leto? Who are we to burst their slightly disturbing bubble?
