Melinda Taub, comedy writer and performer of this video, makes a point that I totally didn’t consider until I saw this: Where were the sweeping, epic Super Bowl-caliber commercials from the fancy Capitol sponsors? Taub gives us an idea of what a Coca Cola spot would have looked like, and now we want to see how they would have advertised the hovercrafts and what famous musicians would have lent their voices.
Well, at least we’ve got the silly animated posters.
