Lockbox Requires You to Win a Game of Hangman to Gain Entry

Are there any immediately useful applications to this? Maybe not, but it’s still a really cool idea: Inspired by Dan Wagoner, Instructables member NOI7734 has built an Arduino-powered lockbox/giftbox that requires you to win a game of Hangman to access the goodies within.

You’ll need to be reasonably technically skilled to put one together yourself — expect to handle a soldering iron and program an Arduino board with Atmega328 — but full assembly instructions are available over at Instructables.
