Yesterday’s episode of Lucasfilm’s web series The Star Wars Show has a number of birthday wishes for the franchise, which released its first film on May 25th, 1977. This included comedian Paul Scheer, Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld, and the cast of Hamilton, who begin the video with a happy birthday song.

The 40th anniversary along with the approaching release date of The Last Jedi means we’re getting a lot of great Star Wars stuff this week, from the tear-jerking Annie Leibovitz-shot Vanity Fair covers (which you can bet we’ll be collecting) to special merchandise and anniversary events at the Disney store.

Other exciting news from the show includes the new Star Wars comics hitting shelves (one of them being the Cassian and K-2SO comic Rogue One fans will adore) and a slew of other exciting events. Come for the song, news, and an interview with author Timothy Zahn, but stay for the master vegetable carver making an amazing Luke and Leia carving.

How are you going to celebrate Star Wars’ 40th Birthday?
