Sorry kids.  You’re going to have to do your homework before logging on to Halo: Reach.  Bungie has announced the release date for the next installment in its history-making first-person-shooter, and it’s September 14th.

At the same time, they’ve announced some demographic info on the Reach beta, and the numbers are impressive.

Over the course of a month, 2.7 million people participated in the beta, more than three times the number of people in the beta for Halo 3. They played for a combined 16 million hours, and killed 1.1 billion virtual people.

We’ll have to wait until September for the battle to continue.

She's spoken at events like Geek Girl Con, New York Comic Con, and Comic Book City Con, wants to get a Batwoman tattoo and write a graphic novel, and one of her canine teeth is in backwards.
