Someone Over at Google Translate Is a Huge Comic Book Nerd

FlashZoomI’ll be honest: I have no idea about the technical magic that goes on at Google on a daily basis, so I’m just gonna go ahead and point to good ol’ fashion time travel on this one.

Turns out, if you put the DC Comics character name “Eobard Thawne” into Google Translate (and call it Spanish), the translation will give you his super villain identity Professor Zoom (aka the Reverse Flash).

Screen Shot 2015-04-15 at 12.37.23 PMThis bizarre occurance was seemingly first discovered by Matthew Adiotomre, who left a comment on a CW The Flash promo for next week.

How he made the discovery and if he’s in collusion with Thawne is yet to be determined.
