Find Out Which of Your Favorite Game of Thrones Characters Won’t Be in the Season 5 Premiere

Plus, check out the re-casted Myrcella, learn about DRAGONS and more!

Actress Aimee Richardson was pretty cool after finding out she’d be recast as Myrcella for Season 5 of HBO’s Game of Thrones. Now we have our first look at Nell Tiger Free in the role, two new clips, dragon history, and which folks you’ll have to wait until later in the season to see.

ThronesNewMyrcella2Still unclear as to why they changed actors but looking forward to seeing what Free does with the role.

Meanwhile we’ve got a Jon and Mance clip…

And another between Varys and Tyrion…

And there’s also this interesting feature about Valyria and the dragons!

And now to the spoilery territory. Considering some folks saw the Season 5 premiere at the Tower of London, they can tell us who we won’t be seeing in that first episode. Entertainment Weekly writes:

The season 5 opener has plenty of Tyrion (Peter Dinklage), Daenerys (Emila Clarke), Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Cersei (Lena Headey), along with some Brienne (Gwendoline Christie), Sansa (Sophie Turner) and others. But at least one fan favorite is absent—there’s no Arya (Maisie Williams). (Don’t worry, Arya fans—we hear the second episode really makes up for that.) Also, Theon/Reek (Alfie Allen) doesn’t show up quite yet either. And though we’re traveling to the kingdom of Dorne for the first time this season, don’t expect to get there the first week.

It’s not surprising. There are a LOT of characters and they’ve done this before. Frankly I’m glad to know so I won’t be hoping they’ll show up for an hour.
