Watch the First Nine Minutes of Syfy’s 12 Monkeys Series

Syfy’s reboot of the Terry Gilliam-directed cult film 12 Monkeys doesn’t hit the airwaves until January 16th, but you can grab a sneak peek at humanity’s dystopic future in advance by checking out the nine-minute video the network just put out to promote the series. I’m talking about the dystopic future of 12 Monkeys, of course, not the dystopic future of January 16th. Earth can’t go that bad in ten days, right?… Right?
