New Fantastic Beasts Kitchen Clip Is Better Than Any Facebook Cooking Video

Recommended Videos

The Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them Twitter just shared a new clip from the film, in which our new crew is enjoying some lovely pastries. While I know most of those cooking videos making their way around Facebook aren’t as easy as they look and often culturally uninformed, they’re still really satisfying to watch. This new clip provides a similar type of satisfaction, minus the fuss and with ten times more magic.

Newt, Porpentina, Queenie, and Jacob (portrayed by Redmayne, Waterston, Sudol, and Fogler respectively) are in the Goldstein sisters’ apartment, when Queenie asks if Newt prefers pie or strudel. Queenie then uses some amazing magic to make a delicious and complex looking strudel, as no-maj Jacob looks on, absolutely thrilled and mesmerized.

Sudol and Waterson mentioned the kitchen scenes in the movie (there are more!) at the global fan event we attended recently, where they discussed the challenges of making sure there was a deliberate order and system in their motions. Just because you’re magical doesn’t mean you don’t have to follow instructions for dessert!
