The popularity of limited edition consoles has really boomed in the past few years. I can think of at least 4 limited edition, game-specific Xbox 360 models off the top of my head. Ricepuppet, also known as Bleeding Violin, decided to extend this trend backwards to the 8, 16, and 64-bit eras, creating unofficially branded, limited edition consoles of his own. No photo editing tricks here, these consoles actually exist and are for sale. In addition, you can send in and commission a custom console of your own, current-gen or not. Finally, you can play on that Action 52-themed NES you always wanted.
