Last February, Sam Maggs interviewed Crystal Fighters: Chaos Arena‘s creators, Tyler and Jen Bartel, and we’ve been hyped for the digital comic’s “Secret Magical Girl Fight Club” ever since. Now, we’re pleased to present an exclusive preview of Crystal Fighters‘ Chapter 3. Here’s a synopsis:
As Stella Kim’s journey into the Chaos Arena of Crystal Fighters continues, she’ll face down the deadly duo of Bit and Digit. Will Stella’s overconfidence get the better of her, or can she continue to rise through the ranks of the underground magical girl fight club?
Chaos Arena: Crystal Fighters is an ongoing series exclusive to the comic app Stēla. It follows Stella Kim, a teenager who discovers an underworld fighting circuit inside a magical girl virtual reality game, Crystal Fighters.
Tyler and Jen Bartel are both passionate about creating diverse, positive female characters, and have a real passion for the Magical Girl genre (we’re big fan’s of Jen’s Sailor Moon art!), so we can’t wait to see more from Chaos Arena!
