Leslie Iwerks is not only a Academy Award and Emmy nominated director, she’s the “the daughter of Disney Legend Don Iwerks and granddaughter of Ub Iwerks, the animator and co-creator of Mickey Mouse and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit,” according to /Film. So that makes her extra qualified to tackle a documentary on Walt Disney Imagineering. The Imagineers are the folks responsible for coming up with and executing all the fantastical things you see around Disney theme parks and their other entertainment experiences. Personally, I always love getting a look behind the magic of Disney so I’ll be keeping an eye out for this one.
