Atlanta woman found out her longtime best friend was having an affair with a married man. Her best friend chose the affair over 15 years of friendship
She cut ties with her over the phone.
For fifteen years, Bree (@tourdebree) from Atlanta, Georgia, had “Lisa” as her best friend. But during an overseas trip, Lisa allegedly cut ties with her over an affair partner.
“I don’t care if we’ve been best friends for 10 years, 20 years, 30 years. You do some rude s*** to me, I’m cutting you off immediately,” Bree said in a rant on TikTok. She claimed she’s been friends with Lisa for fifteen years and that she is close to her 12-year-old son and 9-year-old daughter.
“I’m close with all of my friends’ kids, but this particular set of kids? They’re my babies,” Bree said. She explained that Lisa got married and divorced, adding that Lisa’s ex “did her dirty.” Because Lisa was allegedly a stay-at-home mom, Bree said she helped her friend get back on her feet. She claimed she even bought Lisa a Jeep, her dream car, which her friend has had since 2022.
A trip that tested their friendship
“Fast forward to this year. For some reason, this year, God has been exposing certain people in my life. I realized I have to let these people go, and unfortunately, she is one of them,” she commented. At the start of 2026, Bree said she hosted a cabin trip for her friends so that they could meet her boyfriend. There were ten people in total, and she didn’t require her friends to come with a partner. Lisa, however, allegedly brought a married man to the trip. Bree claimed Lisa told her not to post photos of him because of the complicated situation.
“Anybody that knows me as a friend, as a person, morally, I don’t f*** with people that cheat,” Bree clarified. She claimed that she started feeling mad at the concept of an affair. Nevertheless, she agreed not to take photos of Lisa and her alleged paramour. She didn’t want to confront Bree in front of other people but planned to call her out for allegedly getting involved with a married man. However, Bree alleged that her friend kept crossing other boundaries.
“I noticed some weird s*** between her and my boyfriend. When I would cook, she would be the first to make his plate,” she accused. Bree didn’t understand why Lisa would prioritize her boyfriend when she brought a man along.
“So, when she did this a couple of times, me and my sister, we locked eyes,” she added. Bree wasn’t the only one who found Lisa’s behavior strange. During a drinking game, Bree claimed that when she and her boyfriend were required to take a shot, Lisa only poured for her boyfriend before passing the bottle to her. She saw this act as yet another red flag, but Bree also broke up with her partner after he failed to defend her.
She confronted Lisa
“This is why I host these types of events. When I meet somebody and I want to bring them into my life, I let my friends meet them to get a whiff to really see what’s going on,” Bree said. After the trip, she spoke to Lisa and expressed disapproval of her alleged flirty behavior towards her boyfriend. Bree also confronted her: “Why the f*** are you dealing with a married man?” She confessed she was so upset with Lisa that she started crying over the phone.
“You are a beautiful woman. You’re smart, you’re intelligent, you got your s*** together,” she said of her best friend. Bree didn’t think the man was good enough for her friend. Regardless, later in September, Lisa told Bree that she was pregnant with the married man’s child. She also wanted Bree to be the godmother. Bree was distraught, warning Lisa that the man didn’t want to be involved, even if she wanted to keep the baby. She admitted to Lisa that she was getting irritated and subsequently hung up. They didn’t speak for a week until she received a message from Lisa saying that if Bree didn’t want to be in the new child’s life, she was going to cut her off.
Bree reminded Lisa that she had already booked them a trip to Disneyland in Orlando, Florida, with her and her kids. Based on the receipts, Bree said she paid $5,341 for flight tickets and $3,681.29 for the Airbnb. She also said she paid for the Disneyland tickets as well.
Cutting her best friend off
During her trip to Japan, Bree said Lisa’s daughter called her, saying her mother was “going crazy” and they needed help. Since she was out of the country, she asked Lisa’s mother to check up on her. When Lisa’s family checked on her, Lisa called Bree to cut ties. Lisa allegedly told Bree that she was leaving “that little bitty a** Jeep” at the gas station.
Although Bree got the Jeep back, she didn’t expect this to be how her friendship with Lisa would end. Similarly, this North Carolina woman didn’t expect that her best friend of eleven years would send her to jail during an altercation in Punta Cana.
