There’s a long, honored tradition of hollowing out books to hide stuff. Unlike Gwydion ap Dafydd’s synthesizer-hidden-in-a-book, my childhood book-safe attempts were always a lot more messy and generally failed to adequately hide things that were a bit more sinister than musical equipment. Gwydion, of Konkreet Labs, chose Mary Hahn’s Praktisches Kochbuch as a case and a MeeBlip synthesizer as the hidden filling. The device is perfectly placed so that the power LED gives our butchered pig friend a diabolically glowing eye. Reading just got a lot more noisy.
