As you may or may not know, there’s more to the Emmy Awards than simply the televised ceremony that we see every year. The Daytime Emmys and the Creative Arts Emmys honor the best in non-prime time television. Everything from animation to digital series are awarded here. The Creative Arts Emmys took place last night in Los Angeles.

Television pros won awards across 66 categories, recognizing the best in daytime soaps, talk shows, animated series, and digital series. Sesame Street took home three Creative Arts Emmys, including one for pre-school children’s series. It was the last time Sesame Street would win for PBS, as next year the show will be HBO’s.

Digital soap The Bay was a big winner, scoring three Creative Arts Emmys including one for Best Digital Drama series. And Amazon won huge in animation as its shows Tumble Leaf and Niko and the Sword of Light both won for Best Pre-School Children’s Animated Program and Best Children’s Animated Program respectively.
