Anyway, Here’s Two Perfect Cinnamon Rolls Singing Adele Songs in a Car

Roulés à la cannelle. Rollos de canela. Zimtrollen. Cinnamomum rotulis.

Right off the bat: James Corden and Adele are two perfect, precious cinnamon rolls, and watching them roll around in a to-go box filled with the frosting of their two sweet, inestimably darling voices is nothing short of a real gosh darn pleasure. Friends, this Late Late Show Carpool Karaoke segment is a damned treasure, and so are Corden and Adele, and we must protect everything here at all costs.

So enough gushing. There’s a lot to really love about this video. It’s really cute watching Corden and Adele riff off of each other, making jokes and getting on like the two besties I imagine them to be. They both seem like people you just want to hang out with forever, and being able to essentially virtually sit in a car with them and listen to them chat back and forth will brighten up your day. Given this week, I think we all need that.

Highlights of this video include: Corden’s remarkable singing voice–which if you saw Into the Woods you’d know about–Adele doing Nicki Minaj’s verse on “Monster” (!!!), them both singing Spice Girls’ “Wannabe”, and, well literally everything else.

Do yourself a favor. Watch this video. Laugh a bit. Be glad that these two adorable adorables exist.

Oh, and because I know you all wanted it: here are some screenshots I took while watching the video. I only needed one for the thumbnail, but… I couldn’t help myself.
