As part of his work as the real-life/Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) Captain America, Chris Evans had to be separated from his beloved dog, Dodger, for nearly ten weeks. (He may have also been filming other projects, but I assumed his absence was at least in part for the next Avengers film.) Back in July, he posted about how much he missed his buddy.

But today, for Labor Day weekend, the two were reunited – and it looks like Evans wasn’t the only one who was pining. D’AAAWWW. What a good boy!
As the unstable leaders of North Korea and the United States play their terrifying game of nuclear brinkmanship, I hope this gave you all a distracting smile. At least dogs are reliable.
