Humans are ambitious creatures, but as Carl Sagan reminds us, we still have a lot of evolving to do. Though while the current state of our race may not be ready to conquer other worlds (considering how much of the news has been devoted to self-proclaimed “winners” lately), we still have so many human accomplishments to be proud of, and one day, a wiser version of ourselves will be ready to venture out.
