DC Trinity-Focused Batman v Superman Posters Show Wonder Woman Respect

We love how, in the lead-up to next year’s Batman v Superman, Warner Bros. has been prominently featuring Wonder Woman in all of their marketing. The newest BvS posters are no exception. Check out this amazing action shot of our favorite Amazon in her very own new character poster.

In an interview with 411 Mania a while back, Zack Snyder talked about the importance of including Wonder Woman, and the future of these new films:

[W]e’re working toward Justice League, and I really want to create the — part of the thing I really want to create is the possibility of a world where they could exist together. I think up to this point, it’s been difficult to suggest a world where Batman and Superman and Wonder Woman and others could exist in the same universe. That was one of the things I really wanted to try and get at. Not to mention, the amazing opportunity to bring those characters and have those characters tell an important story, their own story, within the confines of a film.

Oh, and if you wanna check out the posters for those other two yahoos, here they are:

Marvel could stand to take a cue from their efforts. This isn’t even an ensemble film – it’s clearly called Batman v Superman – but Wonder Woman is clearly considered important enough to be showcased anyway. Meanwhile Black Widow is actually an Avenger, and she was often left off posters and merchandise for Avengers films in favor of the men!

Here’s hoping DC and Warner Bros. continue to give Wonder Woman the respect she deserves, along with any other female DC heroes they decide to incorporate into these films.
