New Baby Driver Trailer Shows There’s Nothing Like Some Good Old Fashioned Car Chases

There’s a lot to love about this trailer for Edgar Wright’s newest feature, Baby Driver.

I mean, for starters, it’s full of the good old Wright touches: a rad soundtrack, quirky comedy, action, and even a car chase or two—or five or ten or however many this driver-focused movie boasts. But in case you aren’t aware of just what Baby Driver is about, here’s a synopsis to help you figure it out:

A talented, young getaway driver (Ansel Elgort) relies on the beat of his personal soundtrack to be the best in the game. When he meets the girl of his dreams (Lily James), Baby sees a chance to ditch his criminal life and make a clean getaway. But after being coerced into working for a crime boss (Kevin Spacey), he must face the music when a doomed heist threatens his life, love and freedom.

Who doesn’t like a good heist movie about “that one last job?” The synopsis also only names a few stars out of the movie’s incredibly packed lineup. Also on board are Jon Bernthal, Jon Hamm, Jamie Foxx, Eiza González, and Sky Ferreira. All told, the film just looks like a really fun thrill ride, and there’s nothing wrong with that, right? I mean, I’ll watch anything Wright makes, easy. So you know I’m not going to mis out on this.

If you want to check Baby Driver out too, you can, when it hits theaters on June 28th.
