The Geek Twins’ Star Wars infographic records a lot of revisions made to George Lucas‘ masterpiece that we’d never heard of before, and taken in all, there’s a pretty clear delineating line between “reasonable revisions for the sake of repairing continuity errors” and “completely altering the mood or character of scenes.” I’m going to go out on a limb and say we probably all have roughly the same opinion of where it is.
