Woman Receives Gossipy Text From Her Best Friend. Now She’s No Longer Speaking to Her: ‘Supposed To Be My Best Friend’
An accidental mistake or something far more calculated?
Have you ever sent a gossipy text message to the wrong person? Maybe even the person you’re gossiping about? Kristina (@kriistiinaa4) discussed exactly this in a juicy TikTok video that’s garnered more than 2 million views. Interestingly, she wasn’t the one who made the mistake: someone else did, and they might not even realize it.
So what really happened? Kristina said she was driving when she got a text from her best friend. Pretty normal, right? However when she opened the text, it read, “I’m really liking the guy that Kristina is talking to.” Kristina said her friend also wrote a bunch of other stuff in the message, including that she had hung out with the guy Kristina was talking to, behind her back.
Kristina was shocked, saying, “Keep in mind, we were just literally on the phone with this man, the both of us in the car, and he was acting like he didn’t know her and she’s been hanging out with him behind my back.” She added that she had blocked the guy but is expecting a text from her best friend.

However, she said she would no longer be friends with her “Like, you’re supposed to be my best friend, and then you go behind my back. And then not only do you go behind my back to make me look stupid, but then you’re telling someone else, and then you’re really making me look stupid.”
Regardless of what Kristina thinks about the text, people in the comments argued her best friend meant to send it to her and make it look like a mistake. One user wrote, “Unpopular opinion she wanted you to find out so she could have him.” Another said, “She 100% texted you that on purpose.”
A few others gave Kristina advice on what to do next. One user commented, “Also need to to question who she was texting that’s in your circle that person needs to be blocked too.” Another said, “You have to block her, block him and block who she meant to text because they aren’t your friend.”
Kristina’s case is a serious betrayal of trust. Sadly, this isn’t the first time such an incident has been reported. Last year a woman on TikTok, claimed her boyfriend was cheating on her with her best friend.
Although Kristina didn’t provide a direct update about the incident, some viewed a short clip she posted immediately after the video as a follow-up: “I used to be big on addressing stuff because i felt like communication fixed things, but it’s draining now. Let people be who they are and walk away.”
This indicates that she avoided detailed discussions and just chose to walk away. Maybe that’s for the best, as friendship breakups can sometimes become very messy.
