Woman goes to Waffle House. Her waffle order is so weird that 4 workers come over to ‘judge’ how she eats it: ‘Mind you they’ve seen it all’

There’s an unspoken common rule of how one chows down on waffles. Cutting the slices into small pieces. Naturally, people find other creative alternatives. And some of these may be so bizarre that they draw the public’s eye. For one particular Waffle House customer, how she ate hers earned scrutiny from nearby female employees.

How Did This Woman Eat Her Waffles?

The photo uploaded by Waffle House customer Layla (@laylanoneal_) features an older female Waffle House server, her eyes scrunched, and her lips puckered at the sight of the meal. Meanwhile, another female employee in the background is smiling wide, almost laughing.

Further in the background is a third worker looking away. Why?

“I’m crying literal tears. 4 of them came to judge how I eat my waffle,” the content creator explains in the text overlay.

Viewers Felt Rage Baited

The most diabolical part? Layla doesn’t include any evidence for more than 254,000 viewers to see. This didn’t bode well for her in the comments section.

“Not posting the waffle in question tells me this is reasonable on their part,” one viewer remarked.

“I’m not usually like this but… imma need the other side of the story… because how does one eat a waffle in such a way that attracts the attention of not one but four Waffle House waitresses?” another noted.

“How dare you post this without showing us how you eat your waffle,” a third demanded.

“Now I need to know how on earth you’re eating that waffle to warrant such a reaction,” a fourth stated.

“Mind you they’ve seen it all,” a fifth said.

Because viewers were ever so curious, Layla eventually spilled the tea: “I cut them into chip form and then poured syrup in the butter container and mixed the butter and syrup together, and then i dipped the chip waffle pieces in it like it was nachos.”

Is This Out of the Ordinary at Waffle House?

Since the popular diner opened its doors in 1955, servers inevitably stumble upon questionable food techniques and combinations. Of course, there isn’t a rule that prohibits how customers must consume their battered cake. Nevertheless, this wouldn’t be bizarre considering what alleged Waffle House employees witnessed in a r/wafflehouse subreddit two years ago.

“16 scrambled cheese eggs on the side. Plus a sausage egg and cheese [hashbrown] bowl. Dude ate every bit of it,” one Redditor recalled.

“Bacon cheesesteak grit bowl with grilled onions, jalapeños, and pickles. Yes grilled pickles. Oh, and then topped with double chili,” a second revealed.

“I had a guy come in and order 5 egg whites in a cup like a drink and then he refused to pay,” a third recounted.

Whether you eat your food a specific way at Waffle House, there is a chance the workers may silently or blatantly pass judgment.
