Kansas City Woman Pulls Up to a Park to Play With Her Kid, Then Calls the Police on a 70-something Creep: ‘rather be safe than sorry!’

A woman's intuition

I firmly believe in a woman’s intuition. Nine out of ten times, when I sense that something is wrong, I am usually right. However, despite this high success rate, a woman’s intuition isn’t taken seriously by others, especially men (at least in my experience). This often leads to self-doubt, causing delays in actions and responses that can sometimes be very dangerous when quick reactions are needed.

Just two days ago, TikTok user @berkfeinauer uploaded a video in which she talked about calling the cops on a man, possibly in his seventies, who was acting very creepily. It happened that Berkley was at a park playing with her kid on a Splash Pad when she noticed this particular man watching the kids there. Berkeley sensed something was off from the beginning, but as she observed him more over time, she nearly became convinced he had bad intentions. So, she did what anyone should do in this situation. She called the police.

TikTok user @berkfeinauer called the police on an elderly man

As previously mentioned, six days ago, @berkfeinauer uploaded a video to her TikTok account in which she talked about encountering an elderly man in a place he wasn’t supposed to be. As she explained in her video, she and her child had gone to a park and were about to enter when she noticed a man in his seventies standing there and watching the kids. Berkeley got negative vibes from the man right from the start, but she initially thought he was probably waiting for someone inside.

However, as hours passed, Berkeley realized the man was still there, and it didn’t seem like he was waiting for anyone. Feeling that something was off, Berkeley started to send signals to him, to let him know she was watching, and each time, he would act like he was busy doing something else, like looking at his phone.

Then, Berkeley observed the man a little longer, and as she was leaving, she saw that the children arriving were wearing swimsuits or were undressed. She worried that the man might try to sneak up on them, record them, or, in the worst case, try to kidnap them. Fearing that something could happen, Berkeley called the cops on the man.

That’s a long time for someone to sit watching little kids.”

How can one report Suspicious Activity?

In the United States, if you see someone you suspect has malicious intent, call 911. According to the official website of the Department of Homeland Security, you need to explain in detail what you observed. Additionally, you should specify:

  • Who or what did you see
  • When did you see it
  • Where did it happen
  • Why do you find it suspicious
