A U.S. veteran goes all guns ablazing against ICE for ‘disgracing’ the country, and asks them to get out
A United States veteran who has served the country for seven years has a lot to say about U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and it is not exactly positive. You cannot blame him, especially given the government agency’s shenanigans in the last couple of months under Donald Trump’s rule.
In a video that is currently going viral on social media, especially X (formerly Twitter), an individual who identifies himself as a US veteran can be seen going full nuclear on ICE while discussing them with a journalist during a protest march/gathering. The individual, who appears to be from Minnesota, in his angry rant, highlights the extent of brutality being carried out by the American Immigration and Customs Enforcement, noting that they were making life in his state unsafe and were turning out to be a disgrace. The man also called out ICE agents for hiding their identities under masks (a practice leaders in Blue states have largely attempted to eradicate without much success), potentially avoiding consequences for their actions. In between saying all of these, he also hurled abuses at ICE agents, highlighting the extent of his frustration with the people of the government agency. This is exactly what he said:
“…I’ve bled for this country, I’ve fought for this country…they’re disgracing this f***ing country and what it f***ing means! They hide behind their f***ing masks like f***ing pu**ies!.. Get them out of here!”
In another segment of the video, the man highlights how he was personally impacted by the actions of the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement, saying that his wife and daughter, who were following them down the highway (possibly as a sign of protest), were sprayed by agents and almost “ran them off” the road. The man’s voice rose further as he urged the state’s representative to “get them out” of Minnesota and asked them to “step up” and fight for the people of the state. He also claimed that these people were cowards and too comfortable living in their mansions, and didn’t care about the people of the state, as ICE continues to destroy it. The individual ended his rant with a strong sentence, saying, “F**k ICE” as the crowds around him cheered in excitement.
While some people (especially MAGA people) might think that the man’s behaviour was too extreme, I feel it is completely justified, given the nature of the activities the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement has been involved in since Donald Trump became president for a second term. The agency has been terrorising individuals, groups, and communities throughout the United States through rough handling, often resulting in injuries among people and sometimes even death. The recent murder of Renee Nicole Good in the hands of an ICE agent in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is a solid example of how far Trump’s hired goons will go to warrant immigration enforcement.
