Kamala Harris accuses Donald Trump of using the DoJ as his ‘personal law firm’

While everyone may be focused on Marjorie Taylor Greene’s revenge tour against President Donald Trump, I am more interested in Kamala Harris’s own form of retribution, against not only Trump but also Republicans and sometimes even Democrats. In recent weeks, Harris has made several public appearances, during which she has discussed various “could haves,” “should haves,” “could be’s,” and “should be’s.” And, honestly, her points make perfect sense.

On December 18, 2025, following her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, multiple videos of her interactions with Jimmy Kimmel began circulating on social media, sparking curiosity among users. Among these videos, one in particular, in which Harris discusses her views on the potential outcome of the Epstein case, has gained significant traction, leading to extensive discussions online.

During a segment of Thursday’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, after Kimmel asked Kamala Harris if she thinks the complete Epstein Files will be released on Friday (the deadline), Harris expressed uncertainty about the issue and ultimately concluded that she was sceptical about the Department of Justice actually giving the public what they want, which is to see the full files. She explained her reasoning by saying that the DOJ and the current administration have become synonymous, implying that the President treats the agency as a “personal law firm.” Her exact words were:

“What he has done to treat the Department of Justice as his personal law firm is criminal in proportion to what it’s supposed to be, and that it’s supposed to be an independent body that does justice, blindfolded in terms of for whom, but for the country they’re supposed to operate without favour or fear. So I don’t know that they are going to do what they’re saying they’re going to do, which is release all of the documents that the American people have a right to see.”

Kamala Harris is not mistaken when she states that Trump and his administration have been using the Department of Justice for their own purposes. Just consider Pam Bondi, for instance. Since her appointment, she has only lied on Donald Trump’s behalf and defended him against all odds. Even regarding the Epstein case, it has always seemed that she is shielding the President from something. How else can one explain the transition from Bondi claiming that the Epstein “client list” was on her desk for review, to the DOJ that she heads, later stating that a review of Epstein-related records had found no incriminating “client list”?
