JD Vance proudly accepts Susie Wiles’ conspiracy theorist tag and wears it like a badge of honor

The United States Vice President, JD Vance, has no problem with being called a conspiracy theorist because he himself believes that he is one. I know, it’s not something people usually boast about, but I guess it is what it is.
During a recent event in Allentown, Pennsylvania, where JD Vance was delivering his remarks he was asked by an individual representing the press to share his thoughts on White House chief of staff Susie Wiles’s comments about him as highlighted in a December 16, 2025, article by Vanity Fair, where she asserted that Vance had been “a conspiracy theorist for a decade” and also described his conversion from Trump hater to Trump supporter as “sort of political.” In his reply, Vance mentioned that he would like to believe what the journalist was saying about Susie’s comments, as he hadn’t had the chance to look into it. He then clarified that he was indeed a conspiracy theorist “sometimes,” but only believed in conspiracy theories that were “true.” His response received loud applause from the audience, who also cheered.
Vance continued to express his views, noting that he had previously discussed conspiracy theories with Susie privately and publicly. He recalled one theory from the COVID period, stating that it was “stupid” to mask 3-year-olds at the “height” of the pandemic, arguing that their “language skills” should have been developed instead. He also discussed another conspiracy theory he believed to be true, which involved the government and media trying to hide the ineffectiveness of the Biden administration and Joe Biden in doing “the job.” Vance further claimed that he believed in the conspiracy theory that Biden was imprisoning his opponents to avoid verbal or other conflicts with them. Here’s exactly what he said about his three significant conspiracy theories, which he believed were accurate:
“I believed in the crazy conspiracy theory back in 2020 that it was stupid to mask 3-year-olds at the height of the COVID pandemic, that we should actually let them develop some language skills. You know, I believed in this crazy conspiracy theory that the media and the government were covering up the fact that Joe Bidenwas clearly unable to do the job. And I believed in the conspiracy theory that Joe Biden was trying to throw his political opponents in jail rather than win an argument against his political opponent.”
JD Vance’s statements about conspiracy theories only highlight how limited his thinking is and how much it has been shaped by the views of those around him. In my opinion, this is concerning, and I can’t believe that some people look up to him and even wish for him to become the next President of the United States.
