‘Maga needs to be eradicated’: Teen breaks down in tears while expressing fear over parents being racially profiled and detained by ICE

Since Donald Trump became the President of the United States this year, a lot has happened. One of the primary causes of resentment among Americans has been Trump’s treatment, or rather, mistreatment of immigrants.

Throughout his second term, Donald Trump has been dedicated to cracking down on what he labels the “illegal alien” population in the U.S. and has taken drastic measures to do so. Under Trump’s guidance, the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has been conducting raids nationwide, where they forcibly remove people from their homes and workplaces based on tips, interrogate them, and demand proof of their identities.

In unfortunate cases where individuals are unable to prove their American identity, they are zip-tied and thrown in a truck with other detainees. Additionally, these ICE agents sometimes patrol the streets, stop random people, and ask them to verify their identities. These abrupt interrogations are often influenced by racial profiling. Thus, an ICE agent is more likely to ask a black person for identification than a white person during unorganised raids.

Currently, a video of a 16-year-old boy breaking down at a City Council Meeting while discussing his constant fear of ICE harming his loved ones and himself is going viral on social media. In the video, the boy, an American citizen, points out how ICE has been racially profiling individuals like him and treating them aggressively under President Donald Trump’s protection. He is also urging those in power to take action, highlighting that the people targeted by ICE are truly powerless in this situation.

On X, one user, while showing sympathy for the young boy and disdain for the Trump administration, remarked:

“That poor boy. This infuriates and enrages me!!! Maga needs to be eradicated like the vermin they are!!!”

Another person stated:

“If you actually listen to the entire video, he says his parents are citizens. He’s a citizen. He’s scared because he’s been given the perception that ICE DOESN’T GIVE A SHIT, even if they’re citizens. This is the result of overly aggresive, and unlawful tactics, by ICE. Tramautization of kids who are here legally with their parents. If you like that this kind of stuff is happening in the country, then you can GFY.”
